Great little place for take out sandwiches. Everything I have ordered here is very tasty and the price is right. I think one of my favorites is the pork chop sandwich. . . But I have to warn you that there are bones in the pork chops! You definitely eat these sandwiches a little differently than you would eat a regular sandwich. The bread is nothing spectacular, either--simple white bread. I typically remove the meat from the bones of one pork chop and place on one slice of bread, fold in half, and eat. I do the same for the second pork chop and slice of bread.

Traditional, old-fashioned soul food. Fried chicken, half-smoked, collards, mashed potatoes. A treasure. One of the few such places left in the DC area.

I've been loving blue and white food for as long as I can remember u can get chicken in the morning and I love there chicken breast sandwich or beans

Friendly staff. Especially the old guy who's in there in the early hours when they're open. The $3 sausage and egg on white bread is delicious. They make it in a minute for you. Fried chicken top notch as well. You gotta roll through this place. The counter area is so narrow two people can pass each other, so theres entrances on both sides. This is clearly a neighborhood staple with everyday regulars.

Little tiny spot that I got an entire meal for $6. Food was really good and quick. Better than fast food!
